T.H.Gomillion,a Wasington,D.C.,native,grew up near the the outskirts of Philadelphia.Gomillion attended Winston-Salem State College in North Carolina on athletic scholarship,where he earned a bachelor of science degree.It was during this time at Winston-Salem that he became
inspired by the creations of several black artists.
