- I have been painting for more than twenty five years, in addition, I have added sculpting, photography and computer graphics to my work. My work is signed Jane Lily or Jlily to honor my ancestors.
By design, I live in historic Eatonville, Florida, the 1st Black incorporated township in the U.S. My work is tied to strong spiritual influences that preserve my cultural heritage, as a daughter of the
African Diaspora. It documents history , past and present, and the many commonly shared experiences that color all of our lives.
